Baseball Camp
Georgetown Prep’s Baseball Camp is uniquely geared towards developing the 5th ‘ 8th grade baseball player as he approaches the high school level. Our hitting and position specific instruction takes place in small group rotations ensuring an enormous amount of individual attention for each athlete as they develop their skills. The first day of camp is spent evaluating each player and reviewing basic fundamentals that make up the platform for success on the baseball field. The rest of the week is geared towards individual attention on improving each player’s specific areas of weakness identified on day one. Each athlete is given a specific set of fundamentals and other skills to focus on throughout the week with very tangible goals of improvement by week’s end. After morning skill work and team sessions, afternoons are spent playing controlled games that allow our players to put into play the skills that they acquired and practiced in the mornings. In this fun fast-paced environment, our coaches implement real game-like baseball scenarios to test each player’s game reactions and mental approach to the game.
